Lance Simmons almost dropped his tool box as he dashed across the hotel lobbyway, en route for the closing elevator door. He made it just in time, sticking his arm out just before the door closed. The door then re-opened, and catching his breath, Lance stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for the 43rd floor.
